Litwin Awarded €32 Million Turnkey EPC Contract For Supply Of Cogeneration Power Plant To SAMIR MOHAMMEDIA REFINERY.
Paris, France, 4th July, 2006
The Company is pleased to announce that Litwin SA, a company fully owned by Bateman Litwin N.V. will deliver a Cogeneration Plant to SAMIR Mohammedia Refinery in Morocco. The project value is ~ 32 million Euro.
Litwin’s order as the main contractor will cover a complete range of project services, including design, supply, transportation CIF Site, erection, construction supervision, commissioning and start-up. The Cogeneration Power Plant is planned to generate a total capacity of 40 MW and a minimum of 70 t/h of HP Steam.
Max Abitbol, President of Bateman-Litwin NV group and Chief Executive Officer of Litwin SA, commenting on today’s announcement said: “This project is following a line of 6 projects successfully implemented by Litwin in SAMIR Refinery from 1968 till nowadays (EPC, Feed, PCM). This is also a third project on the vast track record of company’s projects in the energy industry awarded to Bateman Litwin in Morocco, which is a major step in penetrating this important and fast growing market.”
