Our recruitment process puts the emphasis on interviews. At the end of these, the interviewers fill in an evaluation sheet which enables them to transcribe their feelings in hard data. The recruitment decision is a collective decision, and often we share the same opinion about the applicant.
Sometimes we use a personality test. This tool enables HR to approach the recruitment interview with a "self-management skills" vision. Candidates appreciate leaving with the results of their test.
The contract proposal is always accompanied with an employee handbook so the new employee can discover Litwin in more detail: company catering, the sporting environment (swimming pool, tennis, stadium, golf, health insurance, staff provident scheme and spouse's pension…)
The day of arrival, HR is often the first to welcome the new employee and then take him or her to his or her Manager. We have set up integration workshops which from meeting to meeting will make up a whole day, that we've christened JANE (New Employees Welcome Day). During this day, you will part of a team to discover Litwin Business Units, Safety rules, HR plan and without forgetting the delicious meal at the end. This is a great opportunity to enable you to ask the Deputy Managing Director all your questions. |
