In 1964, Harvey KATZ, launched the french subsidiary of Litwin called LITWIN ENGINEERING France. The french subsidiary offered same services as its Headquarter. The purpose was to respond to the growing petrochemicals needs of Eastern Europe. The compagny was soon successful thanks to good relations with nascent eastern european industries. In 1968 Litwin engineering France became Litwin SA.
