US$30 million EPC option received for Tangiers terminal, Morocco



Further to the announcement on 2 January 2008, Litwin SA (“Litwin”) is pleased to confirm that Horizon Tangier Terminal (“HTTSA”) will exercise its option for Litwin to supply an additional storage terminal as part of the new storage facility being built in Tangiers, Morocco. The value of the option is US$30 million and the entire contract has a value of US$128 million, which is to be undertaken on an engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) basis. The option covers a supplementary storage capacity of 144,000 m3 increasing the total storage capacity of the terminal to 490,000 m3. The entire scope of the contract will include the supply of 17 tanks, flow lines, unloading/loading facilities, electrification and instrumentation works as well as civil works. The overall project duration is expected to be 22 months. The project is part of the development program of the new port of Tangier, Morocco, strategically located at the entrance of the Mediterranean basin. The terminal will store and distribute bunker fuel and white products such as fuel oil, diesel, mogas (motor gasoline), gas oil and marine diesel.

About Horizon Tangier Terminal SA (HTL)

HTTSA is a special purpose vehicle created to construct and develop a hydrocarbon storage and distribution terminal at the new port of Rangier in Morocco. The shareholders are Horizon Terminal Ltd, subsidiary of ENOC (Dubaï), Akwa Group (Morocco) and Independent Petroleum Gp (Kuwait). The Tangier Mediterranean Special Agency awarded the concession to HTTSA to build and then operate the terminal for 25 years.
