Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 13 August 2009 - Bateman Litwin N.V. announces that Roderick Balfour has resigned as a non-executive director with immediate effect and will not become Chairman as was previously intended. This is due to an unexpected increase in Roderick Balfour’s principal business commitments which will prevent him from dedicating the warranted time to the affairs of Bateman Litwin.
A nominations committee, comprising of David Granot and Edward Walshe both non-executive directors, has been established to identify and recommend a new Chairman. In the meantime, John Charlton will continue to serve as interim Chairman.
