LITWIN awarded US$20 million MMA contract for QUINN
LITWIN is pleased to announce that LITWIN SA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has been awarded a contract by QUINN Chemical GmbH, a subsidiary of the QUINN Group. The contract is for the engineering of a 100,000 tonne per annum Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) plant in Leuna, near Leipzig, Germany and is valued at circa US$20 million.
The project will encompass a comprehensive engineering service of about 150,000 man hours and will include Feed, Basic engineering, procurement at the initial stages and construction support. Completion of the new plant is scheduled for December 2008.
